Hi there, welcome to my world. It’s great to meet you!
The journey from storyteller to published author has been a long one (just ask my family and friends) and I’ve learned a few things along the way. I learned that writing a book is not easy and that negative feedback can almost derail me. I also learned about trust (myself, God, others) and to appreciate the journey, even if it doesn’t look like I thought it would. It’s all about life and its lessons, isn’t it?
At this moment, I am not sure what this blog will be. I know it won’t be daily. It probably won’t be weekly. It might contain a variety of random things or it might settle into specific topics. What I do know is that I want it to be encouraging and friendly and fun—and maybe a little bit sarcastic, as is my nature. You’re welcome to come along for the ride.
People use words like ‘tribe’, ‘community’ and ‘fellowship’ to describe a group who does life together. Whatever word you like to use, let’s be that. My life is a journey and yours is too. Let’s walk alongside, lift each other up, and share what we’re learning.
